it feels weird to know and accept that things will most likely be over soon. ultimately. with finality. the only things left will be ashes and references to the way things used to be before we both got strange.
it’s hard. but there’s also great freedom in that acceptance as well.

I am ready to leave this year behind but I am still left with an awareness of all that it has taught me. Mainly,
1. People (and cats) are worth much, much more than any thing you could ever own.
2. A home is not a physical location on a map. Home is wherever you are surrounded by love, light and beauty. Even though I didn’t have a house for a week, I was never truly homeless.
